
Ghanaian forward Afena Gyan has been criticized by a section of Ghanaians for his poor scoring form ever since his call up to the senior national team, he has not managed to score a goal and this has angered a lot of Ghanaians who raise their voices for the Roma forward to be replaced.
Afena Gyan at his age and brilliance when on attack gives most of us more hope for BlackStars in the coming months. He simply needs more playing time, watch more games, and learn from the best attackers in the world. We don’t often see Ghanaians named as part of top 100 youngsters nominated for the Golden boy award. Big one for Felix Afena-Gyan and Kamaldeen Sulemana who on a club level have fared much better than on the international level, the two of them are not ready and are still developing as young players and the call up to the national team is a bit premature, they just need to learn now and master their craft well enough to adjust to the global game.
