According to fresh reports Barcelona is set to announce the imminent signing of the Ivorian talismanic midfielder from Ac Milan on a free transfer in a deal worth 28million euros, they have missed out greatly on European football and are desperate for some major top signing to fill in the void left behind their previous good midfielders.
Frank Kessie is a top player who has shown from his trade at Ac Milan where his exploits and goals from the center of the park earned them the domestic league title, the Serie crown has eluded them for almost a decade and the Ivorian proving pivotal and consistent from the start of the Serie A eventually paid off as his timely reading of the beautiful game cemented his name in the history books of Ac Milan football club.
The midfielder probably feels drained and exhausted thus needing a fresh start as he has won everything deserving of a player for them and hence he doesn’t occupy the role of the prodigal son, his relationship with the club is still a forever love affair and they would be gunning for his signature in the future should he choose to work as a coach or do anything related to football after his retirement.
Barcelona meanwhile is happy to acquire the signature of the captain for the Ivorian national team who is fit and ready to adapt easily to the tiki-taka style of football.
