Sadio Mane breaks silence on his move to Bayern Munich.

Ahead of his medical in Germany the Senegalese forward made his intentions known as to why he felt the need to change teams and take on a new challenge after 6 trilling years at Anfield where he won anything deserving of a player, he didn’t even stop there and went further to grace the Senegalese national team with the African Cup after beating Egypt.

“My life has always been a challenge. When my adviser informed me of Bayern’s interest for the first time I was all flame and fire,” he told the German newspaper Bild.

“I could instantly see me there. For me, it was the right club at the right time. It is one of the world’s biggest clubs that always battles for all titles.

“For me, the feeling was right when Bayern presented their plan. I saw myself in Bayern’s plan more than in any other.”

Sadio Mane’s exploits landed him at the champions league final against Madrid who proved superior in spite of their constant goal threat, the forward scored an impressive 23 goals and only came second behind Manchester City who showed they are the Premier League’s heavy spenders.

Bayern meanwhile is desperate to add more players to their team and improve ahead of next season’s Bundesliga campaign, they claimed their 10th league crown but got dumped out from the quarter-finals of the champions league.
