A Ghanaian rapper Micheal Owusu Addo personally known as Sarkodie born on July 10th, 1988 has been most decorated Africa’s rapper for the past decade.
It is allegedly known that Sarkodie started rapping at a youthful age leading to his current age. His first hit album Maakye blasted the entire nation with recognition followed by the album Rapperholic in 2012.
Through this, the best rapper alive in Ghana has won a lot of awards both local and international. He was the first Ghanaian to be presented with an award at the BET Hip Hop Awards when he took home the best international acts in 2012, 2014, and 2015 respectively thus cementing his place as the best all-time rapper in Ghana.
Also, he was the best international flow in the 2019 BET hIP hop awards, as at now , he wins Best Hip Hop/Hip Life Artiste of the Year at the VGMA, 2022, making him holds 106 , both international and local. That is why he remains Africa most decorated rapper and also most award winner of the decade … congrats SARK FOR SHORT.
